Eureka Church

We believe God has saved us for the ultimate purpose of bringing glory to the name of Christ. It is our joy to glorify and exalt our Lord and Savior in public worship, through fellowship with other believers, and by the expression of God’s grace in pursuit of holiness (Matthew 5:13-16; 1 Corinthians 6:20; Ephesians 3:21).

We believe that God has instructed His Church to assemble together publicly for the purpose of worshipping His name through a simplistic form of praise. Our worship consists of singing of hymns, praying, and the preaching of His sacred word. We believe that the public worship of Christ should integrate families and people of diversity into one assembly and body.

The Gospel

We believe the gospel is of first importance and is at the heart of Christianity (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Christ’s death and resurrection is the means whereby sinners are reconciled to God and receive all blessings in life and eternity (Romans 8:32).  Jesus is “the way, the truth, and the life” and the only “mediator between God and men.”

We believe God has called the Church to be a witness of His grace in Jesus Christ unto all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). It is therefore our privilege and responsibility to make known the unsearchable riches of His grace to the world (Ephesians 3:8-9).

We believe that the preaching of God’s holy word is necessary and commanded by  God and is used by the Holy Spirit to convert those in darkness and to edify and instruct the Church.

We believe God’s word is authoritative and sufficient to guide us in all areas of faith and life.
